bus.jpgThe 2009-2010 student enrollment  in grades N-8 is 378. Our Lady of the Hamptons continues to have a high percentage of students from several neighboring communities: Southampton, East Quogue, Hampton Bays, Riverhead, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor. Our Lady of the Hamptons student population is composed of several different ethnic groups: White, Shinnecock Indian, Hispanic, Asian, Filipino, Eastern European and East Indian.

The school community is exceptionally stable, with less than three percent turnover of enrollment in grades K-8 each year. The recent trends show a departure rate of less than five percent of students leaving OLH at the end of a given year, the majority of whom have done so due to relocation of family, economic reasons , custodial changes or departure for other Catholic or public schools.

OLH, as most Catholic Schools, obtains measurement or estimates of the learning ability of their students through standardized testing assessments, State testing and authentic classroom teacher observation and evaluation.
